OUR PROJECTS
Bujleeb Compound: In 2012, AKD completed and commissioned a major housing development, a compound comprising 397 villas and apartments housing, which was rented to Hamad Hospital for its Al Khor Hospital staff. Among the many amenities available in the compound is a fully equipped health club with the latest sports equipment for adults and children, a commercial center that serves the compound residents, a school for around 800 students, and a mosque.
RLIC- AKD Commercial Complex: In 2013, the company built a commercial complex covering around 4250 sqm in the Ras Laffan Industrial City. The complex included food and beverages outlets, showrooms,supermarkets and commercial store and facilities, along with a total area of 2200 Sqm. reserved for offices.
Ras Laffan Industrial City Labor Camp: In 2008, AKD build and delivered a fully-serviced labor accommodation on par with Qatar Petroleum’ standards.
QATAR 2022 Al Bayt Stadium Village: AKD had the honor to support the successful preparation of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022. In 2015, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Heritage, on behalf of Qatar 2022 Committee, commissioned AKD the construction of Al Bayt Village project to accommodate approximately 4000 people, an estimated work force handling the construction of the Al Bayt Stadium – one of the venues of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
MEP Workshop: In 2017, a well-equipped MEP workshop in Ras Laffan at West Side Support Services Area (WSSA) was completed. It started its industrial operations for Heat Plate Exchangers and Industrial Valves.
AKD- Al Aqaria Camp: In 2016, AKD in Association with Al Aqaria constructed 12 fully serviced residential buildings for labor accommodation of approximately 2500 people at Ras Laffan – West Side Support Area.
RLIC-WSSA Commercial Complex (Al Huwaila Complex):The construction of the AKD New Commercial Complex in 2020 was to cater to the clients based in Ras Laffan West Side Support Area. The Complex includes two main sections of 16 units each with mezzanine floors used for several businesses such as supermarkets, restaurants, showrooms, and offices.
